This super duper machine was made for me! I have owned about three juicers prior to this one, and after using the Breville Compact, I can't tell you what brand they were. HA! Back to the review, the motor is powerful, the wind wisps the juice right through the machine, the fruit has one second to scream, and it doesn't. Even the fruit loves the Breville Compact! After two carrots, two small apples, and a beet we had almost 16 ounces of juice. That's a lot. For those of you considering this product, don't hesitate. This machine was made for you too! Bought this juicer as a novice a few weeks ago and we have used it every day since. It really is great! Very compact and easy to clean. Ultimately we decided to buy a new one....the Breville 800JEXL Juicer, Juice Fountain Elite because it expels the pulp, etc. out of the machine.
This is the only drawback - you can juice enough veggies and fruit to make about 36 oz. of juice and then you have to stop to clean out the pulp from the machine. We like to make a few batches in the morning to take to work so this is why we bought the other (which is $300 BTW).

I originally bought this to juice pineapples. It works great for that. But then I read about a lot of people juicing fruits and vegetables for meal replacements. I've been doing that too and really enjoying it.This juicer is a very well-built, sturdy machine. I was surprised how big it is considering this is the "Compact" version. It's larger than our blender, roughly the same size as our full-size food processor.
